On June 11th, 2013 (The date of the Black Forest, CO fire), my whole world changed. I went to work that morning, Happy without a care in the world. Then about 7 hours later I received a phone call that no one would have ever expected. "Diane get your butt home the fire is going right toward your home." I had just enough time to grab a few pieces of clothing, a couple of pictures and my precious cat KEKE, and my uneventful happy life was gone. I went through the next few weeks in a daze, not knowing what to do or where to start. Then talking with Fire Chief Bob he told me about some really great people down at Seeger homes. I said "A modular home! No way their nothing but a glorified trailer." He Laughed and said "Diane you really need to go talk to them you'll be surprised". Well in the mean time Chief Bob went to Seeger homes and told them about a lady that was a friend of his that lost her home. And, treat her good when she comes in. So, I decided to go see Louie & Shar although they were two of the nicest people I had ever met. I wasn't ready and they understood. So for the next 7-8 month I spent looking at houses to buy elsewhere. The thought of going back to the forest was not an option, But, When I saw what was out there in my price range i decided to go back and talk to Louie & Shar. Just as before they were so kind and understanding to what i was going through. So I instantly changed my thoughts about modular homes. We picked out a plan that was perfect for me, & Shar and I had so much fun picking out stuff. We laughed so much we about drove Louie crazy! They were taking care of everything I told Louie "If going to do this you need to take care of everything." And Seeger did. Seeger homes is not just a job for Louie and Shar, Its a passion, and they are two of the most amazing people I have ever meet. I will never forget what they have done for me & KEKE. They gave us the beginning to a new life. I feel so truly blessed to know them. Out of ashes come so many blessings and knowing Louis and Shar are two of them.
